“The Amen Sisters” by Angela Benson has a suicide, a trip to a mental health clinic, and a cheating husband all before chapter one is over. This drama centers around two sisters, their church, and its parishioners with a tough issue to deal with – infidelity.
Five years ago, Francine Amen turned her back on her family and friends to follow a minister of the Temple Church. She gave everything, including all her money. When an act so unthinkable happens, she ends up a resident of a psychiatric facility.
Three months later, she’s released. Having no money now, she must go live with her sister, Dawn, and husband, Sly.
Dawn Amen has troubles of her own too. Her husband, who is also Francine’s ex-boyfriend, has been unfaithful in their marriage. To the world though, she puts on a happy face. She doesn’t want her friends to know she couldn’t keep her husband satisfied. But behind closed doors, the couple sleeps in separate beds. She refuses to trust her husband again.
As the Amen sisters stop running from their problems and begin to understanding the true meaning of forgiveness, they find they’re not the only church members with secrets. Angela Benson doesn’t hold anything back as she deals with these real-life issues. To read the prologue and first chapter, go to Walk Worthy Press.

Sounds like an awesome book Angela. I've got a few more ahead of it, but I can't wait to read it. Such is the life of the book reviewer--a never ending list in that to be read pile. LOL!
Best of luck with your virtual book tour. See you down the line.

Wow...thanks for the great review and posting Angela's stops, J. Kaye! Looks fantastic!
Angela, I've been working with you on your book trailer (which I'm going to try to download to YouTube AGAIN) and I've really gotten to know your book upfront and personal. I love it! Love the cover and the title, too...great decision on your marketing team and you!
Hi, Angela. Good luck on the tour! I'm also touring the Web today on my own Virtual Book Tour for "The Ultimate Passage." Let's pump up our books!
Good luck Angela,
I've added your tour information to my blog; the RSS feed sent it to my Amazon blog, so it will also be added to the general blog feed. Good luck on your tour. Mine also started today for Awakening the Dragon-Book One of the Dragon Clan Trilogy.
This sounds like a great read!! and J. Kaye, I just want to say it's so exciting watching how much the readership of your blog has grown (I'm sure it's more exciting for you than for me.) Anyways, this book does sound really interesting, I'll have to add it to my TBR pile! Thanks for stopping by Angela!
Thanks everyone for such a warm and supportive start to the first day of my first ever blog tour. I don't think my tour could have had a better launch, especially given J.Kaye's review. I hope we keep in touch. You're all always welcome at angelabenson.com.
To my fellow December touring authors, thanks for stopping by. I'll be sure to check out your tours as well.
Again, thanks, everybody.
Angela
