On the shelf, it didn't look like I had that many books. Ugh! These are also the books related to the Ban on Book Spending Challenge as well.
I don't see how it is possible to read all these books by the end of the year and read my books sent from authors/promo companies/publishers. Luckily some of these are super thin and a handful are audios. So we'll see.
Anyone else joining in this challenge?

Thanks for reminding me about this challenge.
I like the reading challenge part it's self but I am starting to not like the list part as I find myself deviating from it. LOL
Cheryl ~ I know exactly what you mean. I am going to be smarter with my lists from now on. The ones for this challenge are the books on my shelf. These are also the books I have on my ban challenge. I have a feeling, one way or another, all these will be done by the end of December. :)
OMG J.Kaye. My list is no where near as long as yours. I'd never get all that read by the end of the year no matter how hard I'd try. Good luck!
Dar! Weren't you the one who said you have a long list? What was the adjective you used? Made it sound like you had a 100 books...lol!
Oh, and for the record folks, I removed like twenty or more. :)
A great list!
And thanks for stopping by.
Have a great weekend. Off to the balloon festival with my girls.
I was under the mistaken impression that my list was long until I looked at yours. lol.
Karen ~ If only listing the books was the hard part...
LOLOLOL @ Dar! You know me. I have got to be extreme.
Oh wow. You sure have a list ahead of you! I've done ok on some challenges and terrible on others. I think I will have to skip this one. I found out about a bloghopping challenge at Alpha Heroes that is more my speed right now. It doesn't involve adding another book, LOL. I need to use the rest of this year to catch up on my current challenges.
Wowza, lady, that's quite a list.
I've only read Nineteen Minutes off the list.
Roughly how many of those are review books (1/2, 2/3?) Just curious :)
Icedream ~ Thanks for the Alpha Heroes link! I am off to check it out.
Shana ~ Zero! Normally I use review books in my challenge. This is the first time I haven't. :)
My goodness - that's a huge list! I know what you mean about ARCs and review copies, though, sometimes they can get overwhelming.
nice list j.kaye. enjoy the reading.

Thanks for the sweet comments on my blog, I sure do appreciate it. I am going to check-out that Fall into Reading challeng, might be fun...
Carrie ~ I finally have mind down to a doable number. For a time there, it was an insane amount!
naida ~ Will do!
Julie ~ I started these seasonal challenges. The next one will be for review copies. It helps to clear my shelves. I've done from having stacks and shelves of books to just two shelves. I am working towards just one shelf.
Hi J. Kaye...You make me so anxious with all your book challenges. I'm going to have to increase my meds....just kidding. I start a new grad course on October 1st, so between that and publishers deadlines , I guess I have my own challenge for the end of the year. LOL.
You have an ambitious challenge ahead. I marvel at your courage!!
wisteria ~ Courage? No, it's more like stupidity...lol!
I will be joining in! I like this one, because it's so flexible. :)
Yeah Amy!
FYI: I've removed two books from the list. :)
I've signed up for this challenge, too. I thought having 13 books on my list was a lot, but you have me beat! The only one on your list that I've read is Nineteen Minutes. I'd love to know what you think when you're done.

Anna ~ only in the amount...my guess is I won't finish them all.
Maybe you won't finish them, but you'll have a lot of fun trying...and that's all that matters!
Anna ~ I couldn't agree more! It is all about enjoyment. When that changes, then so should the activity.
