Giveaway at J. Kaye's Book Blog

When Gustav hit, our library closed and Jimmy didn't have enough books to tide him over. I stopped off at Walgreens to get him something to read. One of those books was YOU'VE BEEN WARNED by James Patterson. He loves this writer, but this book fell short of his expectations. This is what he had to say.

YOU’VE BEEN WARNED was a real page turner. I stayed up to midnight reading it. This book kept me on the edge of my bed until the ending. I didn’t understand what happened! Why was she seeing dead people!!! I had no idea. I couldn’t understand the ending.

I got it, but unfortunately my memory doesn't recall the details needed to explain. I went back to find my review of the book. There wasn't one. :( Guess not every library book I read gets blogged about. Oh well, I'm passing on Jimmy's book to a viewer who comments below.

If you are new to the raffles, more guidelines can be found in the right sidebar or you can just click here. This raffle will be held September 27th.

j. Kaye: You've Been Warned is about Kristin Burns and her quest to find out who is chasing her, and the book ends with a great twist. I would equate it to a modernized No Exit (written by jean paul satre)

No need to enter me.

I've read quite a few of James Patterson's books and have enjoyed them. I don't know their real theme name, but I call them the nursery rhyme books. I love mystery books and his have always held my attention.

Okay, you and Jimmy said just enough to really intrigue me. Though I've definitely widened my reading horizons since I started blogging, James Patterson is like a comfort read for me. I know it won't be a deep, soul-searching experience, but it will be a thrilling, fun ride.

I'd love to read this...I really want to get into Patterson's work. I haven't read any of his fiction yet. I have Against Medical Advice next up in my TBR pile, though.
