Wow great list of challenges, I've signed up for a couple so far. And I think I will also try your YA and Suspense/Thriller challenges too. Challenges are pretty addictive!
I really like what you're doing with your blog, I can't seem to decide how I want to list my challenges - organization is not my strong point :)

Some suggestions for the "Seconds" challenge --
Dawnkeepers, by Jessica Andersen. I wasn't blown away by the first one, but it's an interesting premise. It could also cross-reference to your paranormal "demons" or "other" category.
If they don't have to be 2009 publications, try My Lord and Spymaster by Joanne Bourne. Yum.
Another Jo with a 2nd book due out is Jo Davis with her Fire House series- "Under Fire" will be out in May.
If you need help with the specific paranormal categories, I think all my reviews include tags for vampires, weres, demons, etc. Kresley Cole is a good one for most all of them, and I recommend Jenna Black for demons.
Nicola O. ~ I think you misunderstood the concept of the 2nds Reading Challenge. These have to been books by authors "I" have only read once. So if I haven't read the author before, then I can't pick them for my seconds.
The ones you recommended, would those work as paranormal fiction? That's what I'll be needing help in. I really have vamps covered. It's the other ones I am lacking in. :( The Paranormal 999 will be my BIGGEST challenge...lol!
Boy oh boy, you signed up for a lot of challenges! It's great. I of course checked out the spiritually speaking challenge list and I really like your choices. Especially The 'Power of Soul'. Let me know how you liked it.
At least I am not alone!!! I think we are in just about the same challenges. The only list I have compiled is the TBR Challenge...I haven't joine the 999 paranormal challenge but have joined the 999 challenge through Library Thing.

Kara ~ Honestly, I think I was doing okay until the 999 Paranormal. I really can't give that one up though. I really want to read more of that.
J.Kaye ~ What about Kelley Armstrong? Dime Store Magic's Paige is a witch. Carrie Vaughn's Kitty is a werewolf. Patricia Briggs' Mercy is a shapeshifter living in a world of werewolves and vampires. & I think there are 10 books or so with Harry Dresden. Vicki Pettersson's Zodiac has agents of Light vs Dark (demons). =) Happy reading!

As far as "The Other Boylen Girl" goes, I didn't take it to be a series. Yes there are a number of different books about all of Henry the Eighth's wives and they do tie into one another but you do not pick up where the last book leaves off in any sense of the word. Don't get me wrong Phillipa Gregorry is great and I would love to see what you say about her work I just don't think it really counts as a first.
Trin ~ I gotcha! But I still wanted to read then in the order the books were published, if that makes sense.
AFTER I finish my first review, I will have to scan this list 2 see what other challenges I might want to join. Assuming they overlap w/100+.
Ruth, if most of mine didn't overlap, I wouldn't do it! Or I'd have to cut way down...lol!
