OK, I am assuming that this challenge is closed because the sign up link seems to be broken. I just started this series two weeks ago with the first book and in a trade on PBS, just got 8 more of the series so I would love to join in, but I will be reading them anyway.

ccqdesigns ~ With this blog, never assume anything. Look in the left side bar. See Reading Challenges? Click on that. You'll find the sign up pages there. Also, the link is fixed.

I read Book 1 and I have never laughed so hard!! I can't believe I waited so long to read this author. I kept thinking, just use your cell phone! I finally had to look in the front of the book to see when it was published. OH, I thought, how did we ever function without cell phones?

I could kick myself in the pants...I've only read two of the four books that I'm missing. Maybe I can put everything else aside, and get them read!

Thanks for the reminder.

The reviews part isn't required, right? I might review Plum Lucky and, when I get to them, the others. But I'm not sure yet. I'm not very good at reviewing books. I get very self-conscious about putting my opinions out there.

Jo ~ No! Not required at all. Reviewing is optional.

I really need to start reading some of these books. I haven't ever read any of them yet but they sound like they're right up my alley!

I posted my reviews for the first two. I'm really enjoying this series! I may not post a review for every book...but I said the same thing about the Sookie Stackhouse challenge too (8 books, and 8 reviews later...)

Thanks, J. Kaye, for giving me the nudge I needed to read this series!!

I'm so tempted to join in the fun. I've read about the first 13 or so, and would love to re-read them. Oh, but I said no more reading challenges.

As always J.Kaye you are tempting ;) which is a good thing!

ccqdesigns,

The cell phone thing distracted me. Car phones! Beepers! lol. I watched the technology become more modern as the later books come along while trying to figure out if time was actually moving the same for Stephanie as it was for Evanovich.

· Alba · ~ Spanish is fine, but you don't have to do reviews if you don't want to.

Pam ~ They are awesome!

Alison (Alison's Book Marks) ~ Awesome! I need to get moving too.

Sheila (bookjourney) ~ I am still on four.

Bella ~ Doesn't end until the end of next year...plenty of time.

Not oner of mty favorite authors, i think of it as chic lit. ex-wife in florida and a daughter no less, dont'think either were in previous stories. A Ranger lookalike and wantabe kidnapps his daughtrer and makes everyone thinks he has taken her. So the police look to arrest Ranger. So Ranger has to go into hiding to avid being arrested. Stephanie Plus and her friend Lulu run around with guns trying to capture people.

Oops. I meant to include the title of which one was reviewed. Is there anyway to edit? If not, #7 by moi is a review for Fearless Fourteen.

J. Kaye said...

Grilsgood , you do? I don't see this as being chicklit.

Jo, done! :)

Ok, for book two, I was not nearly as enthused. It seemed almost a repeat of book one. I love Granny though. She is a hoot! Can you imagine, crawling out of the morgue drawer and shooting that big 45? Well, on to book 3 soon.

Yay I've written my first review - One For the Money. Feels good *laughing* now lets see if I can keep it up with all the books I'll be reading over this next year.

Fearless Fourteen - The last book I finished was Lean Mean Thirteen, so I read this one, which I've had for....two years. Wow. I linked my review.

I am LOVING this series! Between all the heavy, sometimes sad, books I'm reading, it's so nice to pick up a Stephanie Plum book and just be entertained for a few hours!

Thanks again, J.Kaye for hosting this challenge!
