My goal again this year is 200 books. I've read almost 500 this year alone, but there is NO way I'm doing that next year. 200 is a nice small safe number!
WOOT! I think I might actually finish this years and really looking forward to next years :)
This was the challenge that I have been waiting for! I have wanted to join this one for awhile now!
I think with all the reading I have done this past year this should not be a fun challenge for 2010.
I'm at my 71 book mark for 2009 right now and started feeling disappointed that I wasn't going to make 100 books by the end of the year. Maybe this challenge will help me meet that for 2010! :)
I have a feeling this is going to sound dense, but...
This is a challenge to read 100 or more books? (I actually get the any genre/format part, shock of all shockers.) Do you have to review them?
And this is the challenge that had to do with those monthly posts you put up, right? What's that for? Review links or something else?
I think I'll be participating in several challenges for 2010, just trying to figure out if this should be one of them...
Debra Weisberg - Glad to have you joining!
Deborah - That is fantastic. I tried for 200 and fell short. Maybe in 2010?
Felicia S. - Super!
Amy J - Book Addict - I keep hoping to make it to 200...maybe in 2010.
Blogger Sheila (Bookjourney)- It's a neat way to keep track.
Christine - Don't feel bad. It took me three years before I made 100. Now I am trying for 200.
Jo - Yes, this was the post that had to do with the monthly review links. BUT - No, you don't have to review any of the reading challenges I host. That's optional.
The goal is to read a 100 or more books. I need to clarify that.
Can't wait to start the new year! :D
Can't wait so count me in for my third year of this challenge!
Looking forward to doing this challenge again next year!
Brooke Reviews - Me either!!
Sharon - LOLOL! Has it been that long? Where does the time go?
Alaine - Queen of Happy Endings - I am still going to shoot for 200. Maybe one year, I'll make it.
Yea!! I have been waiting to sign up. I have over 250 on my TBR so I have plenty to choose from.
I'd be rather curious to see how many books I actually do read in a year but 100 seems like so many...I'd hate to fail (I hate failing).
ccqdesigns - Wow! You go!!
Pam - I can understand, but this is the kind of challenge that took me years to make it. Failed the 200, but I'll try again. Took three times, I believe to make 100.
I'm so looking forward to this one!!
I'm signing up as soon as I update my Challenge page.
Deborah~ wow 500!?! I'm impressed!
I wouldn't miss this one for anything :-)
I'm still working on the 2009 challenge, but will definitely be signing up for the 2010 challenge as well! So glad you're hosting this again! :)
fredamans - me too!
Jenn M. - Deborah is a reading machine!
Teddyree - I am thrilled!
Alexia561 - Yes, I am a bit early. ;)
Thanks for hosting again. My goal will be 300. Not sure if I will reach it. :) It will be fun trying.
I am aiming for 200 books in 2010. I have never managed to read more than 170 in a year since I started keeping track in 2007.
Okay, I set it up and gave it it's own page. J. Kaye, are you wanting links back to this post? Is this Mr. Linky's permanant home? I always like to link my page back to the challenge page, just making sure i link to the right one.
I'm really looking forward to being part of this challenge. I've never done something like this before, but I know that I love to read.
I'm all signed up and ready to go! My goal is gonna be between 200 - 250.
Thanks again for hosting this. Will keep better records next year.
Brittanie - You are my hero.
~Jennifer~ - That's me exactly! Although I think I am going to hit 180 this year. Won't know until the totals are in.
Jenn M. - You did it perfectly!
single lutheran - I remember when I first started the 100+ Reading Challenge. I questioned my sanity at the time. ;)
GFDesignz - WOW! I'd be thrilled to make it to 200. ;)
SueFitz - Blogging is the only way I've kept a good record of what I've read. I've tried other things, but nothing worked until this.
J. Kaye: I'll be signing up for a number of your challenges again for 2010. You hosted some of my very favorite ones in 2009. I'm not going to pick until Thanksgiving weekend, when I have time to make lists and write up posts. I haven't abandoned you!!!
I'm looking forward to joining in the challenge again!
Beth F - LOL! No worries.
Nan - It's gonna be a fun reading year.
Exciting!!!! I am so happy to be joining this one right from the start! Yippee!
Count me in!
Thanks for encouraging me to read 100+ books this coming year (not like I really need the encouragement, but it will be good to keep track of what I read)!
I signed up at #28 and I am so excited to do my first challenge. I was reading anothers book blog and seen the link - so glad I clicked it.
I wanted a different name for my blog and changed it today. Then realized my link for this sign-up was no good.
So you will see two Tresa's on the sign-up. But the new one is the good one. Thanks for the challenge.
Man I want to join but I highly doubt I could reach a 100. My normal yearly intake of books is 50ish. Of course since I started blogging last April, it has increased. I'm up to 71 so far this year. Hmm maybe I'll give it a shot. Going to ponder that thought a bit.
I don't know if my earlier post took; but for 2010, I'm going to try hard to complete the challenge--only got 1/2 way in 2009!
Juuuust making sure - if you take out books from the library and read them, that counts too, right?
Hi all...I just posted my link directly to my challenge post...the first Molly@Book Reviews by Buuklvr81 was to just my blog...it is now posted above in Mr. Linky to the exact posting! Thanks!!
For the past two years I've wanted to do this, and now I'm definitely in for 2010! Last year I made it to 100, and this year I'm nearly there, I'm ready!
christine (booktumbling) - LOL! Understand that feeling.
Rasberryswrlgirl - So glad to have you!
readingisgoodforyou - That's why I began this challenge. I wanted to see if I could and then to puch myself to read more.
Tresa - No problem! I can delete the first one.
Zia - There is a 50 Reading Challenge, but I have no idea who is hosting it.
got2care - You mean with Mr. Linky?
Justine - Library books count and you can sign up for the Support Your Local Library Challenge and complete two reading challenges at the same time.
Buukluvr81 - No problem!
Julie at Outlandish Dreaming - Awesome!
Thanks for hosting this challenge again in 2010!!!!
I am ready to meet my goal of 100 books.
I found this one on another blog. And I am eager to join so I did :D I am falling short of my goal this year for another challenge I did which was 125 books because I have been sick. I am amazed at the gal who read 500 books this year WOW.
So Count me in and heres hoping I reach 100 in 2010.
Kara - Awesome! I didn't make my goal, but will try again.
Ambrosia Jefferson - Great to have you!
I think that I may sign up for this one!! I need to evaluate my other challenges for next year, but this one is just too tempting!! But, then again, it may help be get back on track for my usual reading!! I'll keep you posted!!
Here's to 100 books!!
-Audrey (Escape No. 2)
i'm definitely looking forward to the challenge! :) i'm getting married in october, so this may be a little more than challenging than it would be for me previously, but i love to read and constantly have a book on cd in the car on the way to work or have a book in my hand or on my kindle in the evening! thanks, j.kaye!
Hi J. Kaye,
I'm in again! I really enjoyed this years 100+ Challenge. Looking forward to next year! Have a great day!
Sherrie
Just Books
I'm so glad that you are hosting this challenge again. I found your blog too late in the year to take part in your 2009 one, but I'm considering doing this one. Do all 100+ books have to be new reads? Or can there be some re-reads? Thanks!
Just signed up-pretty sure most of these books will probably crossover from the library challenge. Can't wait to get started!
I'll sign up for this!
One quick question: are we allowed to re-read books?
Tif - One thing about this challenge is that it goes with all the other ones nicely. ;)
Audrey - Here! Here!
rayna - So glad you are joining. I wanna a Kindle! ;)
Sherrie - Awesome!
Amanda & nl-mars - Look at #2.
2. Audio, Re-reads, eBooks, YA, Library books, Young Reader, Nonfiction – as long as the book has an ISBN or equivalent or can be purchased as such, the book counts.
J. Kaye, I somehow missed the re-read part of that one! And, I remember reading the rest of it! But, I have signed up and look forward to getting started!!
I'm so excited to join!
I'm pretty new to to reading for pleasure (Just started really reading for pleasure in 2007! WOW! Oh, what I have been missing!)
Excited to meet the 100 mark in a year! =)
Hoping this challenge pushes me to do so! =)
-SuperMom @ www.WhatYoureadingNow.blogspot.com
I really liked this challenge for 2009, since it is one I can usually be successful at. LOL Thanks for hosting it again!
Good point!! You've sold me!! I'm in!! I will work on getting my post done over the next few days and will sign up officially soon!!
I will be doing this again in 2010 to date I am at 94 books.
I was bad at posting my monthly links hoping that 2010 will be a better year for that.
Thanks for hosting this :)
As a first-time reader to this challenge, I look forward to it! Sometimes I feel like I haven't had enough time to read because I spend it all on the computer and that's definitely time that I can use to enrich my life with a book. Before I got married and had my daughter, I probably used to read 100 or more books a year. This is the first time I'll count them. I'll post my introductory post here soon.
Stephanie - Oh yes, crossovers are welcomed!
Amanda - I understand...do it all the time myself.
SuperMom - Awesome!
Diane - You are very welcome. I love this challenge. :)
Tif - That's wonderful!
Cindy - Uhhhh...I've been pretty bad too. :) I think I stopped sometime in Feb. I'll do a wrap up post though.
Kari Wolfe - Last year, I gave up TV to read more. I did, but didn't make my goal for the year. I am going to try again and see what happens. ;)
First time doing this challenge and it should be fun to see if I can beat my number I read for this year (about 146 as of today). Thanks for Hosting, can't wait to read for next year.
Jess - do you have a number in mind?
My goal for 2010 is 125 concentrating on more motivational and healing reading
I'll probably finish out 2009 with about 205 books but I'm busier now so my goal for 2001 is 150.
I've joined up! This is my first challenge :o) I wish I read more... unfortunately my To Be Read pile is out of control because of school. Hopefully I can get more reading done next year!
I have just signed up for this challenge, after doing not so well with it last year, but I am determined to complete it this year. Thanks for hosting all these great challenges!
Hugsxxx
I just came across your blog via Book Chatter. I am going to join in on this challenge! It will be a real challenge for me as i have a daughter due in Jan!
Awesome challenge! :-)
Thanks to you and to Mr Linky.
Finally, a way for me to keep track of how many books I read each year.
~Aye.Me?
http://reversingthemonotony.blogspot.com/
pennypeden - I am targeting my reading list too!
MonieG - So you are slowing down?
VABookworm87 - Yes, the TBR pile can mushroom in the blink of an eye or so it seems that way to me.
bethsbooks - No worries. Took me three years to finally make it.
Lizzie Ann - Wonderful! Love meeting new people.
Stephanie - thank you!
Aye.Me? - wonderful! Glad to have you.
I'm so excited! I've decided that 2010 is the year of book. Woo!
Jade - welcome to the challenge! :)
This will be my first challenge and I'm very excited. I have been devouring books the last few years so I think this will be right up my alley. I am not a blogger so that makes this challenge all the better. Thanks!
So excited! This is my first challenge :)
I'm thinking 100 books will be a low challenge, so I'm going to modify this to 100 books I should have read or FINISHED in HS and college. Normally, I bring home 5-8 books a week from the library, but I read a lot more light lit than serious reading; so here's to 100 serious books in 2010.
Oops. I sent the wrong information in under #129. Please delete that from the list. Sorry.
Can't wait!
Stacy Duplease
http://www.Storiesbystacy1.blogspot.com/
This is the perfect challenge to encourage me to read more. Thank you for hosting! I hope I can reach 100 books.
I saw this challenge mentioned on a blog last week and then saw it again earlier today! I don't know if I'll accomplish it, but it's certainly something I'd like to try, so count me in too! :)
Thanks for this great opportunity!
I can't wait to get started.
Sassy Brit

*Giveaways*
Pamela Endly & Cari, Abe, and Paige - You all picked a great one!
Ms. Packrat - that's the reason for the "+". List how many you'd like to complete in 2010.
Stacy Duplease - No worries.
Anna ♥ & Amanda - Don't worry of you don't make it the first time. Took me three years. Each year I got closer and closer. :) Now I am reading over 100.
Sassy Brit - So glad you are joining in!
I hope to read way more than 100 so we shall see! WEE!
This will be a stretch, but I'm up for the challenge.
I'm so excited to start, and I can't wait to see what everyone will be reading :)
I don't have a blog but want to participate by keeping track through goodreads. Wondering, what should I name the self? Thanks.
First time signing up for the challenge :) should be fun
this is really nice challenge
it will make motivated to read
100 book in a year or more who
knows, thanks for this lovely
challenge Mr.J
Right! All signed up :) Not convinced Ill do it but Ill have a flippen good try!
Great thing! I'm joining : D
I am looking forward to this challenge!! Can't wait.
I do need some editing help please - I have linked to my blog and not the post . . . Is there a way to change it?
Thanks for posting this! I think I signed up last year, and said to myself, "No problem!" but I didn't even get close to 100. This year will be the year!
This is going to be the first challenge I've ever done. I'm so excited! (:
I'm in - even if I don't hit 100 it will be fun to try and get there.
Thanks for hosting!
Exactly what I've been looking for. Something competitive...
This looks fun. I didn't quite make it to 100 books this year so we'll see if I can do it in 2010 :)
Tigris Eden - Me too! Best of luck. :)
Soccer Mom - Awesome!
Maryse - I know. My wish list is growing and growing.
Anonymous - you can just use your name.
m0chi - So glad you are joining in!
AD sabry - You are very welcome.
Lazula - Hey, it took me three tries before I was able to.
Shia - Happy to have you.
Chrizette - Just put the correct one and let me know which number to delete.
Hippy Chick - Glad to have you back!
Dana - I am honored! :)
Tam @ Bailey's and Books - This is a good way to keep track of the books you read...or it was for me. Then I started challenging myself to read more and more each year.
annashareen - it really is. :)
Holly - Just remember that I didn't make it my first year either. And 2010 will be the third year to shoot for 200.
I don't know why, but I feel kind of special for being the 199 person to sign up for the challenge.
Thanks for hosting this. I am so excited.
Taking the plunge!! Lately I have been doing less reading and more time on my page. Need to put that in reverse and this challenge will allow me to get back to reading!!
Please delete number 159 - I corrected the link :)
Thank you
I think I will set my goal at 200 books for 2010. It was 150 in 2008, 100 never read before with no allowance for my yearly rereads and I made both goals. I think this year I will aim for 200 including my yearly rereads. I think I can make it. Wish me luck!
Just wondering, will manga count as a book read?
Jess - A Book Hoarder - It does sound like a super cool number!
Mash1195 - I know what you mean. It's been difficult to get those numbers up!
Chrizette - Done! :)
Shalanda - I do, I do, I do!!
Connor M.C. - Yes, and I should have listed that in the post, but completely forgot. I'll go do it now. Thanks for the gentle nudge.
I tried this last year but pretty quickly lost track. Here's to remembering!
I am so glad that books from one challenge count against books for this one. Otherwise, the thought of reading more than 100 books next year might have been too daunting.
One question - do text books count? Please say yes!
LOL @ The Celebrated Author - May 2010 be a better year then.
fionaskye - For sure! Textbooks, school books, etc. all count.
I am going to be brave this year and try to reach that 100 mark. I managed to do 75 this year w/o trying that hard, so with a little effort...
This is going to be fun! I'm a bit dense with mr linky but I've wrote a post with your link in it... I'm hoping I can manage 100 books will be fun trying, thats for sure
Here is too 100 books in 2010.
Thanks for hosting this! I saw the link to this challenge on some fellow writers' blogs and decided to join, since I'm already sorting out my To Be Read Pile for 2010.
Looking forward to this :-)
ahem. Apparently I signed up twice by accident. Feel free to delete one of me :-p
Do you have the html for the widget posted somewhere? Or am I just too dense tonight to figure it out? ;-)
I'm all signed up! Although, if I don't get off my computer, I won't manage to read anything!
I am so looking forward to this ~ it's something I have wanted to do for a long time. Looking forward to it!
busy91 - If you weren't even trying, then I have no doubt you'll make it! Way to go.
pjamarama - Were you able to link up?
CeeJae - Yippee!
dystophil - Did you get it figured out?
JG - Yes, I understand. I plan to step back in 2010 and read more.
nancysblogtwo - me too!
I am really excited to take on this challenge. I know I can do it.
Can't wait to do this!
Not only is my goal to read 100 books
BUT to also to keep a record of title and author names of those books. When I want to recommend a book, I never can remember either the title or author. I created a new blog just to write this stuff down. Looking forward to starting a new book on the 1st.
Definitely a challenge I can get behind! Forget running a marathaon in 2010, I'd rather read.
I was able to sign on early this time
Yea !
Going to try for 150
Thanks for the challenge! I only read a paltry 21 books this year, which I find embarrassing to put in print. I am upping the ante this year!
I'm going for 350 in 2010. I'm over 300 for 2009, but I won't make 250,
I very excited to undertake this challenge! I can't wait for the New Year to start so I can start reading some of the books I've already picked out. I think the most I've ever read in a year before was in the 70 book range.
I have never been involved with any online challenges. I am new to the blog world. I do have a blog, but it is a family blog. So it isnt really the place for this. How do I keep my list for the challenge if I dont have a blog?
Thanks
Oilbhe, Becky, lingeorge, and Olivia's Bookshelf - Me too! I am so pumped about 2010~
Darleen - Good reason to start this!
Shari Morehouse - Same here. :)
jedi145 - Cool! I am going to shoot for the same number I tried this year....I didn't make it. In fact, I think I read more books in 2008.
Eyre - Holy smokes! You rock!
Kelly - There is a post each month. If you take a look at the 2009 Reading Challenges (button on the left sidebar), look at the bottom where the 2009 - 100+ Reading Challenge is located. You can list your books in the comment section. And all 100+ in the comment section of the wrap-up post. Most non-bloggers keep their main list on a Word Doc.
I'm in!! And I got the button to add to my blog, thanks J Kaye!
Oh dear. I did something silly and linked to my main blog instead of to the individual post. Is there a way to fix this?
I'm 258 - a.m.harte - and the post I *meant* to link to was this one.
In other news, this challenge looks awesome! Although it doesn't bode well that I don't even read a blog entry properly....
We'll see if I can do it! Thanks for the challenge.
I'm going to try out for this. I tried to get 50 and failed, but failing was half the fun. I read so many books that I just thoroughly enjoyed. I'm going to have to make time to read on top of everything else, but I know I'll have fun trying to get there.
Hello! New to book blogging, and am very excited by this challenge!
I thought I already signed up, but dont' see me. My goal for the year is to read 100 less books since I should hit close to 500 mark by year end
Wow, seems like a tough task. But I can do it. Yes, I can XD
I'm currently reading my 40th-something book of the year, not counting mangas. So I guess I can do better for the challenge :)
[ Kiri ]
Well, I'm going for it. After not picking up a book in years, besides textbooks, I'll finally get back into good old fashion reading. I'll be sticking with 100 books since even that will be a stretch! Looking forward to the challenge!
I am new to online challenges. So, I set up a blog for book challenges and yours is my first. Do I post the books I read there? Do I post here too? Please help a newbie!
I've decided to join your challenge along with the one I'm hosting on my blog, TAKE THE JOURNEY. I'm really looking forward to the year ahead. I've posted your challenge badge with link on my blog.
I can't wait to do this challenge! I should be able to complete it. Thanks for hosting this, J. Kaye!
Alright, I'm in!
I'm gonna try! No promises. :)
Fun challenge. My husband and I love to read and go to the library every Saturday with out daughter. I'm pretty sure I can do this! It will be interesting keeping a list and seeing just how many books I do end up reading. I've never paid attention before to how many it was. Thanks! Hugs, Janis

aka Felicia
I just officially signed up. I'm excited! :D
I can't wait!
Thanks for hosting this =)
T = awesome!
quillsandzebras - No problem!
Kristine Corpus, Najela, Justine,
Grilsgood, Briseide, Alicia,
Kelly, Between The Lines & More, Alicia, James,
Silver @ The Raving Readers,
Ferishia, & cantabile--xx - Welcome to this reading challenge!
Janis - So glad you are joining. There is also a Support Your Local Library Reading Challenge too. Link is in the left sidebar.
My goal is to read 300 books. I should be able to make the over 100 limit. Very excited about joining this group and look forward to your readings and comments on the books read.
This will be my first time, and I'm ready.
Looking forward to it!
I'm excited to try to reach 100 books! It's been since elementary school that I got any sort of credit for how many books I read! Good luck all!! See you on the other side!
I'm curious about how many words per minute or pages per minute the people participating in this reading challenge read. I read about 322 wpm (higher if newspapers or scientific literature). I'm goin to try to speed up my reading without loosing comprehension. Any tips about how to read 100 books a year are welcome (you can leave them at my blog post about the reading challenge). I usually read well over 100 books a year, but less than half are actual literature or poetry. So I'm pondering how to finish a literary book every three and a half days.
This is my first contest ever! I challenege myself to 100 books in 2010.
~Lizzie
The Book Obsession
This sounds like fun to join in the challenge - I've never done one before.
This is my first time doing this. I have always loved reading but dont get a chance to read as much anymore, so this will give me a kickstart. Do we need to check in here periodically, sorry not sure how it works?
This challenge might actually help me out some. I haven't read many books at all in the past few years. meybe 50-120 over 3-4 years. XP
I am very much looking forward to starting this challenge! I have a always loved to read, but have gotten away from it over the years. I have posted my link (Daria's Blog), so there's no turning back now! hehe.. I think I may take a moment to look at a few other lists out there to get some ideas. =)
this should be a fun challenge can't wait to begin
Will there be discussion threads for interaction, or do we simply sign up and then use our own blogs to challenge ourselves?
J.Kaye, I realize I have asked you certain questions more than once. I am sorry. Can you tell how lost I am? But, I think I have it now. :)
Look forward to the challenge. I'm not sure how many books I've read in 2009 so I'll be interested to see if I'm anywhere near 100.
Adrianna - You are my hero, just know that!
TerryLynnJohnson, The Book Obsession & LeviSamJuno - Fantastic!
Dawn Hullender - Me too...come on 2010!
Charlie - I hear ya. :)
James - Since I am a slow reader, I just feel lucky just to get 'er done.
Tracy - Each month, I will have a post to link your reviews. You don't have to review the books, but if you'd like to add your progress. I can also have a challenge check in post. Would that help?
浦飯経妄荷 - LOL! It took me three years of trying to accomplish 100 books in one year.
OneKnot - When kids came along, so did I. Now I'm back!
Dark Angel - Me too...looking forward to the new year.
Kelly - Would it help if I did a monthly or weekly check in post? That might be a really great idea!
Dina Mayr - That is exactly why I started this reading challenge!
This is the first challenge I read about when introduced to reading challenges. I'm happy to give it a shot! I'm doubtful I'll hit the 100+ mark but I'm sure this will help push me to hit it. Thanks for hosting!
librarinth - Wonderful! I am thrilled you are joining in!!
This is my first year entering blog book challenges and this is my very first commitment.
I'm playing it safe and sticking with the one hundred.
Thanks for hosting this!
This sounds like a fun idea. I'm in
This is my first Book Challenge!! I normally ready close to 200 books a year, but I've never kept track of them. Love this challenge and can't wait to start:)
Great site! I will be keeping track in the sidebar of my blog with my Shelfari widget (books tagged 2010). Also, on the first, I set up a post promoting the challenge and this site at the group blog I am on for YA writers. Happy New Year!
I didn't quite reach 100 books in 2009, so hopefully I will be able to make it in 2010. I didn't sign up for 2009 and I think that is the motivation that I was missing!
I hit 115 in 2009, but I'm a children's librarian and most of them were picture books. My goal for 2010 is to read more than 32 adult novels and much more than 10 children's novels. Thanks!
love it! thanks for promoting this great idea. can't wait to start!
I'm joining this 100+ reading challenge. I read more than this last year as I'm addicted to books. I do not have a blog but I'm working on learning how to create one and what they are all about. I've learned a lot from Twitter which is how I found your site. I'm excited!
I am definitely looking forward to this. Give me another excuse to get more books on my new Kindle!
I just started my blog. This is a very fun way to get involved. I wonder how many books I can read in a year. I have never counted before.
This is gong to be so much fun, but not so much for my bank account.
First time joining! Can't wait. :)
This will be fun! I've never kept a record of my reading. This is the year!
Looking forward to being, love the challenge.
Let's hope i can make it :) thanks
Hey, this sounds like a lot of fun! :) Looking forward to participating.
Hi!
Is it possible to edit the link I posted for the list of books? If not no biggie. Thanks. :)
First time joining an online challenge...maybe I'll actually get through some of my bookshelf. Not a blogger yet, though, so I guess I'll be updating my list here for a little bit.
Can't wait to start reading my first book! Thanks for the challenge!
I've been looking for a challenge and am up to the task. Good luck all and happy reading!
I am really excited about this challenge!
This is my first year participating and it looks like a lot of fun!
This is my first reading challenge and I really look forward to it. Thanks!

I've signed up--but I don't have a blog. :)
I'm really looking forward to this challenge. I'm eager to find out how many books I actually do read in a year!
Love the idea - count me in!
So looking forward to this challenge! I surprised myself in 2009 by reading only 115... I am interested to see what I can do this year!
It will definitely be a challenge to read 100 books this coming year, but it's a challenge I'm excited to face!
I am soooo joining your challenge!!
I am soooo joining your challenge!!
This will be a tough, but fun challenge for me to be taking part it, again, for the New Year! Hopefully I complete it this time! Thanks for hosting!
Had so much fun last year participating. Looking forward to reading more this year!!
I'm so excited. What a great challenge, and what a fun blog.
I'm ready for a challenge! I also plan to review each one on my blog. Thanks for helping me set a goal! Here we go!
Well - my work situation changed, so the 2nd half of last year slowed down, but I listened to more audiobooks! I think 100 is doable!
I joined your challenge!! I'm just wondering what the definition of a story is... anything under 50 pages, or...?
Looking forward to this challenge :) Thanks for hosting it!
I've joined the challenge as my goal has been to read 100 books in a year and haven't made it. This will be a great way to be accountable and challenge myself. I read 79 books in 2009 and it may have been more but I didn't keep the best records as I think I forgot a few. Thanks for hosting this challenge. I'm being very selective of the challenges that I'm joining this year.
Hi J. Kaye,
I didn't see anywhere to post review of the 100+ Challenge. Are you doing that this year? I have my first of 100 done. It is at my place, Just Books. Have a great day!

Where is Mr. Linky???? I'm in!!
Awesome challenge! I am definitely in :)
Okay, I signed up in the Mr. Linky box (I think). Now, I guess I go to my blog and set up my list, is that right?
I missed 100 books in 2009 by 8 books (I was on a different 100-book challenge), so I hope to exceed 100 in 2010.
Goal this year is going to be 150... I would do more but i have a 15 hour semester this spring. Oh well im excited!
Debbie Rodgers, Chaotic Scrapper, Becky Maher, Shantal, Sharon, The Reader, Wendy Fitch, Emily, Shanda :), rdemunck, Steena Holmes, ILoveAragorn11, Susie, and addicted reader - Outstanding! Nice to have you join!
Honoria Ravena - it is. :) You are joining right?
Gwen Hayes - Thanks! Some find it easier to list in the sidebar.
Tiny Head - Then this might be the thing. So glad to have you.
Colleen - LOL! Well, remember those early reader books count too.
Tara and Dale - Thank you! Glad to have you. :)
Candice - Books and blogging are a great combo. Have fun!
~Ifer - I have so been wanting a Kindle! I bet you are loving yours.
Sarah - Well, there is the library challenge too. You can use the same titles for both challenges.
Jenn (Books At Midnight) - AWESOME!!
Ferishia - Sure! What is your number and what is the URL you want in its place?
Terrimel - That's great. You don't need a blog to do this. You can also keep a list on a word doc too.
purplg8r - Wonderful. Also, I haven't forgotten about you. I just haven't had the time to email.
Renae - You don't need one! So glad to have you!!
Emily - That is fantastic!
Jill, Rachel, Tammy, Luanne, and aqtbenz - Yes, this is going to be sooooo much fun!
ErotRomReader (Janna) - It's not the pages that count. If the book has an ISBN or equivalent, it counts. A book of short stories counts as one. A novella that you purchase is one. Make sense?
Bonnie - I am honored! Thank you!!
Sherrie - Books aren't supposed to be started until the 1st. It's only the second. I didn't think participants would have a book read and reviewed in one day.
Sheila - Glad you are happy! :)
fredamans - LOL! A review post will be added in a couple of days.
Staci - If you don't see Mr. Linky, it means he is having technical issues.
Linda - Wow! That was so close...wow! Still an amount of books to brag about.
lady_in_green - That's a heavy load...remember text books count!
Thank you for your help linking me J. Kaye. I think I'm off to a good start. I'll have book two finished before I go back to work Monday.
